Can we talk about how much I spent on a single pair of shears?
I dropped $320 on a pair of Japanese shears last month because my cheap ones kept giving me hand cramps during back-to-back cuts. They slice through wet hair like butter, no dragging or snagging. But now I'm paranoid about dropping them on the salon floor. Anyone else shell out big on shears and regret it or love it?

Dropped my $400 Mizutanis last week and wanted to cry. Worth every penny though.

Practical tip: get a little silicone mat or a rubber grip for your station, it saved me when I was paranoid about knocking over something expensive. And honestly, if they make your work easier and your body happier, that price tag is worth it over time.
