Appreciation post: My client's hair after switching to a protein filler before color
She had major breakage from box dye, but after 3 months of using a filler, the texture is so much stronger and the color holds way better. Has anyone else seen a big change from adding that step for damaged hair?

It's wild how much that extra step matters. Makes you wonder how many other basic salon processes we skip that would save our hair.

Honestly @reeseanderson, it's probably a lot of them, like the way they mix color or apply heat protectant. We rush at home and miss the small stuff that adds up. Tbh it makes me want to actually watch what they do next time.
