Was dead set against spray foam until my buddy's container turned into a sauna
I spent two years telling anyone who'd listen that rigid foam boards were the only way to go for container homes. Then my friend Mark finished his build in Austin with spray foam and after three months of Texas summer his place stayed 15 degrees cooler than mine every single day. I finally caved and did a 2-inch closed cell spray foam in my second container and now I'm kicking myself for not doing it from the start. Has anyone else had a similar change of heart on insulation methods?

Well to be fair, 2 inches usually isn't enough for most climates though.

Took me longer to admit I was wrong than it did to install the spray foam, if I'm being honest.
