TIL most container homes need way more insulation than I thought
I was planning to skip spray foam to save money, but then I read a post from a guy in Colorado who said his container hit 120 degrees inside on a summer day... That stat from the Container Home Association's 2023 study changed my mind completely. Anyone else run into heat issues with their build?

Closed cell spray foam was the best money I spent on my build. Did a test run before and after insulating a small section and the temp difference was like 30 degrees. That 2023 study you mentioned is no joke, the numbers are real. Saved a ton in the long run by not having to run AC constantly. Spray foam is worth every penny if you can swing it.
