Our container's insulation went from a total mess to actually holding heat

Three weeks ago we had a huge gap near the roof seam that let in a cold draft, making the whole space feel like a fridge. After sealing it with spray foam and adding another layer of rigid board, the inside temp stayed steady during a 40-degree night. What's the biggest insulation fix you've had to make on your build?

Honestly a 40 degree night is not that cold though? Like that's still above freezing. My garage stays about that warm without any extra insulation. Maybe you just had a really bad draft before and now it's just normal.

Yeah, 40 degrees is totally fine for a garage, right? My old place had a drafty side door that made the whole space feel like a freezer. After I sealed the gap with some weather stripping, it stayed right around 40 all winter without any heat.
