Just saw a post about 40ft containers rotting from the inside out

I was all set to buy a used 40ft high cube until I read a forum thread about moisture getting trapped behind the wall panels and causing rust within 3 years. Has anyone here sealed their container walls with something besides spray foam?

Nah, you're overthinking it. Plenty of containers out there that sit for 10+ years with nothing but the factory paint and are just fine.

Painted my shed with plain Rust-Oleum about 8 years ago and it still looks brand new. No rust bubbles, no peeling, nothing. I just made sure the surface was clean and dry before I put the first coat on. That's really the only trick to it. If you prep it right, you're golden for a long time.
