Insulation first or siding first in a container home? I keep seeing people get this backwards.
I been watching build videos for about 6 months now and I swear half the people put up their exterior siding before dealing with the insulation on the inside. That is backwards to me because if you seal up the outside first, you trap moisture against the steel and that causes rust over time. A guy in Texas told me his container started sweating inside after he did siding first and he had to tear it all off. Anyone else notice this mistake or am I overthinking it?

Saw a guy do siding first and his walls turned into a swamp in two months.

Totally changed how I look at the order of things honestly. I used to think siding first was fine because you just cover it up later but now I get that you gotta lock in the weather barrier and everything before you slap anything on top. Water will find its way in so fast if you don't do the steps right. That swamp story is exactly the kind of nightmare that makes me double check every step now.
