Found out my container home's insulation is basically useless in Vegas heat
I was digging through the manufacturer's spec sheet last week and realized my spray foam R-value is only R-13, not the R-21 I thought I paid for. Has anyone else gotten different numbers than what was promised on their container build?

Man I used to think R-13 was fine for most places but living in the Vegas heat changed my mind real quick. When the sun is pounding on that metal container all day long you need way more insulation than that. R-13 is basically like wrapping a beer can in a paper towel and expecting it to stay cold. I'd be pissed if I paid for R-21 and got R-13 too that's a big difference on the cooling bill.
