Was dead set against color theory rules until a logo fail last Tuesday
I always thought color wheel rules were just for art school types who overthink everything. Then I picked a blue and orange palette for a client's rebrand and it came out looking like a sports team knockoff. My buddy pointed out I was using a complementary scheme wrong - too much saturation on both sides. Now I actually check the wheel before picking colors. Who here has been burned by ignoring basic color rules?

Honestly, that "lmao" at the end really says it all. You probably just slapped a new logo on a Shell station and called it a day. Ngl, I bet you didn't even notice till someone pointed out the neon sign looked weird. Tbh, most of us couldn't tell a rebranded gas station from a real one anyway. But hey, if the coffee's still hot and the pumps work, who cares what it's called?
