Vent: Bought a $50 color wheel guide and it's basically useless

I dropped $50 on some fancy color wheel guide from a design store thinking it'd help me pick palettes faster. Turns out the tints on the card don't match what prints on my screen at all. Anyone else find those things are just marketing hype?

$50 for a color wheel and the tints don't match your screen? That's rough. Did you buy it from a place that lets you return stuff like that? I'm wondering if the issue is that the wheel is for print, like Pantone colors, but you're using it for digital design.

Yeah those things are such a rip off. Just use the color picker in your design software instead.
