Unpopular opinion: My boss at the Austin design firm made me redo a whole brand palette because 'it didn't feel right' for the client's yoga studio.

Vague feedback like that just wastes everyone's time" - yeah, but sometimes the person giving it doesn't have the words yet. They know something's off but can't figure out why. Doesn't make it less annoying though.

That's not really an unpopular opinion, that's just a bad boss. "Doesn't feel right" isn't feedback you can work with. They should have pointed to something specific, like the palette being too energetic for a restorative yoga studio, or the greens feeling too corporate instead of earthy. A good creative director explains the why.
