Tried using Adobe Color's accessibility tools on my last project and it broke my whole palette

I plugged in my usual go-to teal and orange combo to check contrast and it told me I had to bump the brightness by like 40% to pass WCAG, which totally washed out the look I was going for. Has anyone else had their whole color scheme fall apart after running it through those accessibility checkers and had to start over from scratch?

Totally second that approach. I started just cranking up the lightness on text and borders instead of backgrounds and it kept my palette alive without looking like a washed out mess.

Yeah that exact thing happened to me with a dark blue and coral combo I'd been using for years. What finally worked was keeping my main palette intact but bumping contrast on the text elements specifically instead of the whole background. Saved me from trashing the entire concept and honestly the end result looked cleaner even outside the accessibility check.
