Tried picking colors off a grayscale version first and my palette finally stopped looking muddy
Read a tip somewhere to convert my design to black and white before choosing hues, so I gave it a shot on a logo project in Denver last week. The value contrast was way off and I could actually see it instantly, fixed about 4 shades and the whole thing clicked. Anyone else do the grayscale check first, or do you just eyeball it?
