Question about the value of those $40 swatch books
I keep seeing people recommend those physical pantone swatch books for picking palettes, so I spent $40 on one last month. Honestly, it threw me off because the printed colors looked way richer than what showed up on my monitor, and I ended up redoing two logo drafts because of it. I get that screens differ, but the swatch book made me question every digital choice I made after. Has anyone else found those books more confusing than helpful for screen based work?

Pantone books are just fancy paper weights when half your clients view colors on cracked phone screens anyway.
