Ngl, I was stuck on a palette for days until I tried something my grandma said
Honestly, I was trying to match colors for a bakery logo and nothing felt right. I finally just grabbed a photo of their lemon meringue pie and used an eyedropper tool on the crust and filling, and it clicked. Has anyone else used food photos for color ideas?

You said it's a practical fix, not genius. But what makes a good logo if not a practical fix that just works?

Seriously, it's just colors for a logo. Not like you're curing cancer. Grabbing pie colors works, sure. But people act like this is some huge artistic breakthrough. It's a practical fix, not genius.

Hold on, the whole point is that a good logo is a practical fix. That's exactly what makes it good. It's not about curing cancer, it's about solving a simple problem really well. When a solution looks obvious after the fact, that usually means the designer did their job right. Calling it just grabbing pie colors misses how hard it is to make something look that easy.
