Just lost my whole logo palette because I didn't check contrast on a phone screen

Used this deep teal and light gray combo that looked great on my monitor, but on my client's iPhone 13 the text was completely invisible. Has anyone else had a color scheme totally break on mobile displays?

You're putting too much faith in monitor displays (a mistake I've made plenty of times myself). Every screen is different, especially once you throw in different brightness settings and ambient light. The real test is always checking your work on a few actual devices, not just relying on that one expensive monitor.

Oh, this is so true. It's like how you can't really know if a photo is any good until you see it printed out on different paper. We get so focused on the numbers and specs that we forget the real world is messy and full of variables you can't control.
