Spent 45 minutes trying to dial in a pour over this morning only to realize my kettle was set to 195 instead of 205 the whole time
Has anyone else spent way too long chasing a problem that was just user error from the start?

The kettle breaking the day after I figured it out, that would be my luck.

Hold on, the kettle itself broke? Like the actual kettle? Not like a bad batch of leaves or you left the water in too long? That's almost poetic in a way. I have to admit that is a special kind of luck right there, the universe really committing to the bit. Usually it's just the coffee maker that dies on a Monday morning for me, but this is next level.
