PSA: I was cleaning my French press with soap the whole time, and it ruined my morning coffee for a year.
I used to scrub my French press with dish soap every day (you know, to get rid of that oily film). Then last month at a cafe in Brooklyn, the barista saw me do it and was like 'you're stripping the seasoning off the glass, man.' Has anyone else had that moment where you realize you've been doing something simple wrong for way too long?
