My buddy called my pour-over technique 'aggressive' and it made me rethink everything

He watched me make a cup last week and said, 'Dude, you're pouring like you're putting out a fire.' I was basically dumping the water from my gooseneck kettle in one big splash. I switched to a slower, steady spiral pour over 30 seconds, and the difference was crazy. The coffee tasted way sweeter and less bitter. Anyone else get roasted for their brewing style and have to change it up?

Wow, I totally thought a fast pour was fine until I tried the slow spiral too!

Read that in a coffee blog last week. They said slow pour makes the flavors bloom more. Totally changed my morning routine.
