I fell for the hype on a $75 coffee grinder from Amazon

Saw this budget grinder with like 5000 five star reviews. Figured it was a steal for espresso. First week it worked fine, but by day 10 the grind size was all over the place. I ran maybe 3 pounds of beans through it total before the motor started making this weird clicking sound. Now it's sitting in my closet and I'm back to hand grinding with my old Hario Skerton. Anyone else get burned by those cheap electric grinders with fake reviews?

5k five star reviews" lol. That many fake reviews in one spot is wild. Sorry you got burned, that sucks.

Honestly that many five star ratings in a short window is a huge red flag, not a good sign. It's crazy how people still fall for that stuff though, you'd think the algorithm would catch it.
