Cold brew at home is way easier than I thought
I used to spend $5 a day at the coffee shop on cold brew, thinking making it myself would be a hassle. Then I tried a $15 mason jar and a cheap mesh filter from Amazon, let coarse grounds sit in water for 18 hours on my counter, and strained it. The taste was smooth, no bitterness, and I saved around $120 in three weeks. Anyone else found a simple trick that cut your coffee spending way down?

My first batch I used a regular pasta strainer and cheesecloth cause I didn't want to wait for a filter to ship. It actually worked fine, just took a little longer to drip through. I also found buying beans in bulk from a local roaster saved me even more than the pre-ground stuff at the store.

Made my first cold brew in a French press... looked like mud but tasted like heaven.
