Best week of pour overs I ever had was in a tiny town in Ohio
I was visiting family near Columbus last fall and stopped at a little place called Rise and Grind in Granville. Their barista talked me through a Ethiopian Yirgacheffe from a roaster I never heard of and it tasted like blueberries and honey. Every cup I made at home for the next three days came out perfect too. Anyone else have a random coffee run that just clicked better than anything?

I always buy a bag of beans from the place where I had that perfect cup, then ask them to grind half for pour over at home. That way you get the same taste without having to nail the grind size yourself.

3 pounds of beans in a month is rookie numbers. You gotta pump those up. But hey, at least you're not grinding your own at 3am and waking up the whole house. @river183 you're basically a bean whisperer at this point.
