Appreciation post: my $18 Aeropress beat my $200 drip machine this morning
I ran a little side by side test last weekend, same beans, same grind, and the cheap Aeropress cup was smoother with way more of the chocolate notes coming through while the drip machine just tasted flat. I think the paper filter in the Aeropress is doing more work than I gave it credit for. Anyone else find a cheap brewer that outshines their fancy setup?
