Showerthought: my grandpa's shop printed oranges that looked like oranges, mine look like traffic cones
He sent the same label job to a printer in Fresno back in 2004 on an old offset press and the fruit popped off the box, but when I rebuilt that file for a digital run last month the orange shifted closer to red no matter what I did with the profile. What got lost between his setup and mine, was it the ink, the press, or just the way I'm converting to CMYK now?
