Showerthought: A customer in Dallas approved a bright orange logo on screen, then got 500 dull brown shirts
She signed off on the proof on her phone at a Starbucks on Elm Street, and that bright orange hex code looked perfect. But when the shirts came back from the screen printer 3 days later, they were a muddy brown because CMYK just can't hit that neon range. Why do we still approve brand colors on a backlit screen instead of a printed swatch?
