Shoutout to the old print shop guy in Dayton who showed me the 300% ink limit in 2004
I was a dumb kid who thought maxing out every ink channel made colors pop, and he pulled up a total ink readout on a press sheet and said anything past 300% just turns to mud on newsprint. Still think about that every time a client hands me a file with rich blacks at 400%.
