Hit 5000 prints before I figured out my monitor was lying the whole time
I finally hit 5,000 printed pieces this week and it hit me weird. Turns out my monitor has been showing colors way too bright since day one. I calibrated it with a cheap device last night and realized every single print I've ever done looked dull compared to what I saw on screen. Has anyone else gone that long without checking their monitor and just blamed the printer?

Did you try printing a test image right after calibrating?

Flip that thing around and test it cold first, @lilyt90. Calibration's a stage trick half the time. It tweaks the settings to look pretty, but the real issue is how the machine actually runs day to day. Print a test image right after you power it on without that warm up dance and see what spits out. That'll tell you if the sensors are lying or if the firmware is just guessing.
