Hit 100 print orders last month and 47 came back for color fixes
I run a small print shop out of my garage (not fancy, I know) and I finally crossed 100 orders in a single month. Turns out almost half of them had some kind of color mismatch from screen to paper, mostly because clients kept sending RGB files with neon blues. Has anyone else seen a number like that on their reprint rate?

Did Jake ever figure out a go-to fix for those neon blues?

Oh man, that reminds me of my buddy Jake who runs a sign shop over in Oakville. He had this customer who wanted a "vibrant magenta" for their food truck wrap, sent over an RGB file that looked electric pink on screen. Jake printed it, it came out more like a dull maroon, and the guy threw a fit. Turns out the neon blues and pinks are the worst offenders for that exact reason - they just don't translate to CMYK. He ended up doing three reprints before they finally matched it, and now he's obsessive about checking source files before he even touches a machine.
