Felt like an idiot when I learned my monitor was in sRGB mode, not Adobe RGB
I kept editing photos on my home setup and sending them to a printer in Portland, and every time the blues came back muddy and flat. After the third batch I blamed the lab, but then I noticed my monitor was set to sRGB in the OSD, so I was basically guessing at colors the whole time. Now I'm scared to think about how many old files are wrong, anyone else catch a dumb setting like that years later?

Man, my buddy edited a whole wedding on a TV set to vivid mode.
