That guy at the hardware store told me to skip the tape on my cardboard prototype...
He said just use hot glue and score the folds with a dull knife, and I got my first working mockup in 15 minutes instead of 2 hours. Anyone else had someone at the counter give them a tip that actually worked?

Happened to me with an old timer at the paint shop who showed me a trick with toothpaste instead of spackle.

Brushed my whole bathroom wall with toothpaste before I realized it wasn't the cheap kind.
