Cardboard mockup of a glue bottle holder saved my workbench

I used to just toss squeeze bottles wherever they landed on my bench. Every time I needed wood glue or contact cement, I'd dig through a pile of rags and clamps for 5 minutes. Finally got sick of it last month and cut a quick cardboard stand with slots for each bottle size. Taped it together in 10 minutes, no measurements. It fell apart twice before I got the angles right, but now I see exactly what works before I touch my good lumber. Anyone else rough out jigs and holders in cardboard before committing to the real build?

Wait, it fell apart twice before you got the angles right? That means you actually rebuilt it, and I'm sitting here impressed by that patience alone.
