Warning: My recycled paper bullet journal turned into a ink-blot test
I switched to all recycled paper for my bujo to cut down on waste. Now every pen I use bleeds through and my habit tracker looks like a Rorschach painting, lmao. What's the funniest supply fail you've had while trying to be sustainable?

Recycled paper is a total gamble on quality. I read an article about how the fibers get shorter each time, which ruins how it holds ink. Your experience with the habit tracker bleeding through makes perfect sense. It reminds me of what @johnson.karen said about bamboo pens snapping. The materials just aren't tested for real use. We end up wasting more when the eco product breaks or fails halfway through the job.

Tried BAMBOO pens once and they SNAPPED during a meeting, so embarrassing.

Remember trying those recycled paper notebooks that shed flecks everywhere during client presentations. Once had a "plantable" pencil sprout a tiny green shoot right in the middle of filling out a form. Feels like some eco-friendly stuff is built more for the idea than for actual daily use. Makes you look like a mess when all you wanted was to not use plastic.
