Tried to track my water intake with a custom bullet journal spread and ended up soaking the whole page
So I decided I was gonna get super hydrated and made this elaborate daily water tracker in my bullet journal with 8 little bottles to color in. I thought I'd be clever and use my watercolor brush pens to fill them in as I drank water throughout the day. But ngl, I didn't let the first bottle dry before I started coloring in the second one, and the whole thing just bled into a wet mess on the page. The ink soaked through like 3 pages behind it and ruined my weekly spread for work tasks. Honestly, I learned that watercolor and bullet journaling don't mix well unless you've got like 10 minutes of patience between each sip. Has anyone else tried a fancy art approach and totally wrecked their journal pages?

Stick a hairdryer in your journal bag for emergency drying.

Oh man, I actually saw a friend of mine try something like that once. She was at a campout and her notebook got soaked in a surprise rainstorm. She pulled out this little travel hairdryer and stuck it right in her bag, just like @the_piper said. Problem was she forgot to take out her metal pen first and almost melted a plastic sleeve onto everything. She told me the bag smelled like burnt hair for a week after that. I guess the idea works if you're careful, but maybe double check what else is in there before you turn the heat on.
