That $18 stencil set finally made my monthly spreads click
I kept skipping decorative headers because my handwriting ruins every attempt, so last month I grabbed a cheap geometric stencil pack at Michaels for 18 bucks. It took one afternoon to map out a habit tracker and a mood grid that actually look like I planned them, and now I actually flip back through my journal instead of hiding it. Has anyone else found one cheap tool that made their spreads feel way more put together without a ton of effort?

Oh man, that’s exactly how it goes sometimes... you fight with something forever and then one cheap little thing just flips a switch. It’s like that with so many random hobbies, too, I notice it all the time. Like, my buddy spent months trying to get good at grilling and just hated it, then he bought a $12 instant-read thermometer and now he’s out there every weekend like it’s a whole new hobby. That kind of small fix makes you wonder why you didn’t get it way sooner... it’s never about the fancy stuff, just the one piece that makes the rest of it finally make sense.
