PSA: I spent $38 on a stencil set for my journal and my lines have never looked worse
I grabbed this 12 piece stencil kit off Amazon for $38 because I thought it would fix my terrible handwriting in my monthly spreads. The letters are way too big for my A5 notebook, so every header now touches the edge of the page and looks cramped. I also used a wet pen on the plastic and it smeared ink all over the stencil itself, which then bled onto the next page. My November spread looks like a toddler got loose with a marker. The one thing the kit did save me was drawing the little boxes for my habit tracker, those came out fine. Should I just give up and go back to freehand lettering, or is there a stencil size that actually works for small notebooks?
