My habit tracker was lying to me for 6 months
I had this habit tracker in my bullet journal where I'd color in a box every day I exercised. After half a year, I looked back and thought wow, I must have been really consistent. Then I realized I was coloring in the box just because I'd done a 5 minute stretching video, not an actual workout. My tracker showed 80% success but my fitness hadn't improved at all. Has anyone else had a tracker that gave them a false sense of progress?

My friend Sarah had a step counter that counted every time she tapped her foot waiting for coffee. She thought she was walking 15,000 steps a day but really she was just impatient.

Did she ever figure it out before getting a new tracker, or did she only realize when someone told her? I'm curious how long she was walking around thinking she was super active... must have been a shock when reality hit. Seems like those trackers pick up all kinds of random movement though.
