My friend in Denver told me my monthly log looked like a mess of scribbles
She said it was hard to tell my appointments from my tasks, which made me realize I was using the same black pen for everything. I switched to a Pilot G2 blue for events and a red for deadlines, and now it's way clearer. Has anyone else found color coding makes a big difference for them?

Yeah, I heard something like that on a podcast once. They said color acts like a mental shortcut, so you're not reading every single word. I use a purple pen for anything that needs a follow up call, and just flipping through I can spot all the purple lines instantly.

Oh, totally. I read this article about how our brains process color faster than text. They said using just two colors, like you did, can cut the time it takes to find info by almost half. I tried a green pen for personal stuff and a black one for work, and it stopped me from missing my sister's birthday last month.

Honestly, it's just a calendar. I get the idea, but sometimes it feels like we're overthinking basic stuff. I used to spend more time picking pen colors than actually doing the tasks. If it works for you, cool, but my brain just sees a rainbow mess. A simple check mark gets the job done for me.
