The new game cafe in Portland had a wall of shrink-wrapped Kickstarter boxes

I was at Mox Boarding House last weekend and noticed a whole section of their retail area is just unopened Kickstarter games. Must have been at least 50 different titles still in plastic. It felt like a museum of hype, not a place to actually play. Do you think this is a good way for a store to move product or does it just encourage the 'collector' over the 'player' mindset?

It's like a graveyard for bad ideas... all that plastic and no one playing.

Look at it as a blank canvas for new ideas, shane_anderson. All that plastic just means there's a ton of potential waiting for the right game. Sometimes an empty space is more exciting than a crowded one.
