We were in the middle of a crucial turn when the host brought out a platter of chips. Everyone stopped to eat, and the game's momentum just died. It was so awkward.

Wait, chips? During the final turn? That's like pausing a movie right before the killer gets revealed. The whole point falls apart. My group would have lost their minds if someone brought out a big platter right then. You just can't come back from that kind of energy drop, man.
