Pro tip: That $50 kickstarter for a 'deluxe' board game insert was a total waste when it didn't even fit my copy of Spirit Island.

Spent a whole evening trying to shove the pieces in before realizing it was designed for the old edition, so has anyone else gotten burned by those third party organizers that claim universal compatibility?

Right? Bought a "universal" organizer for Terraforming Mars that was like an inch too short for the board. Total waste of money and time.

Universal compatibility" is just marketing speak for "we didn't test it." Learned that lesson with a Folded Space insert myself.
