My worst board game night ever ended with a Monopoly board upside down

Last Saturday I hosted 5 friends for game night and it was a disaster from the start. Someone spilled soda all over the Settlers of Catan cards and then two people got into a loud argument about trading rules. I had to call it quits after an hour and we just sat around eating chips in silence. Has anyone else had a game night go totally sideways like that?

I used to think game nights were always supposed to be fun and easy, but honestly that sounds so familiar now. After one too many arguments over Catan rules I finally realized sometimes the best move is just calling it early before things get worse.
