I finally found why my dice tower was so loud after 3 years

My group kept complaining about the noise every game night, so I tore the thing apart last Saturday. Turned out I glued the felt liner in wrong and it was rattling against the wood spine the whole time. Has anyone else traced a board game annoyance to a build mistake you made years ago?
