I finally chose to host our game night at my place instead of the local cafe
Everyone in our group kept saying the cafe was better because we didn't have to clean up, but after three months of loud music and a two-hour table limit, I made the call to move it. I spent about $80 on snacks and rearranged my living room to fit two tables for our 8-player games. Honestly, it was way more fun having our own space to leave a game set up overnight, but now I'm stuck with all the setup. Does anyone have a good system for getting people to help tidy up without feeling like a nag?

The two-hour limit alone would have pushed me home.

Yeah @theabennett, right? What's even the point if you're just watching the clock the whole time?

The two hour limit would have been it for me too. I remember going to a concert a few years back with my buddy @victor636 and we had this whole plan to stay for the whole show. But the band started late and we had to leave right at two hours because of some curfew. It really killed the vibe because we spent the whole time checking our watches instead of enjoying the music. Makes you wonder why they even set limits like that if it just ruins the experience for everyone.
