Bought a $70 foam core cutter and it paid for itself in one weekend
I used to just use a utility knife for cutting foam core for my custom inserts and it was always a mess. Crooked cuts, crushed edges, the whole deal. Last week I picked up a Logan foam cutter at a hobby shop in Denver for $70 and it changed my game. I reorganized 4 game boxes in one Saturday with perfect fit trays. No more sliding pieces everywhere when I store Gloomhaven or Terraforming Mars upright. Anyone else find a tool that saved your board game organization sanity?

@ben_shah93 totally nailed it, plus you can finally fit all the expansions in one box.

And honestly the $70 is nothing compared to what you save in replacement boxes lol. I used to wreck at least one insert per game trying to cut it by hand, so the tool basically paid for itself by stopping me from buying new cardboard. Plus having perfectly snug trays makes setup way faster since you don't have to hunt for pieces or stack things just right.
