Two-factor auth apps, the one that auto-fills beat the one that doesn't
I used Google Authenticator for like 5 years. Every time I needed a code I had to switch apps, read the 6 numbers, type them in, hope I didn't fat-finger it. Then last month my phone died and I had to redo all my accounts. A friend told me to try the one built into my password manager. Night and day. It just pops the code right into the field, no switching, no typos. I honestly didn't think the extra 10 seconds mattered until I hit it 20 times in a day. Anyone else made that switch and felt stupid for waiting?

ha, same thing happened to me. I put off switching for months because I figured it would be a hassle to set up. Then I got locked out of my email during a trip and had to call support. That was the last straw. Now the code just shows up in the autofill box on my phone and I tap it, done. I used to miss those login windows at work all the time, now I get in on the first try. Honestly feel dumb for not doing it sooner.
