Tried two different checkout flows today and one was way faster

I compared a one-page checkout with a multi-step one on two different websites and the one-page version got me through in like 30 seconds less... has anyone else noticed a big speed difference with those?

Yeah that makes sense, single pages just keep you going without all the stopping.

Wait did you catch that thing where @riley58 basically called out the real problem with chapter breaks? My friend Sam was reading this thick novel last week and kept getting frustrated because every chapter felt like it was forcing her to stop at the worst possible moment. She said it was like the author was trying to control her bathroom breaks or something. One night she just tore out 20 pages from the middle and read them as singles, swore she finished the book in half the time. Now shes doing it with all her paperbacks and honestly I might try it too.
