Tried to use my bank's new mobile app to deposit a check and it made me take a picture of the front, the back, and then the front again.

What app makes you verify your email THREE times?

Maybe they're trying to catch bots that auto-complete single verifications. Three times would trip up a simple script.

My friend tried depositing a check through this credit union app and it made her scan the front, flip it over, scan the back, then scan the front a third time because the lighting "wasn't right." She ended up just driving to the bank branch instead. By the time she got there she said she would've rather dealt with a line than ever open that app again.
