Took 45 minutes to find the print button, it was hidden under a hamburger menu
Yesterday I needed to print a shipping label from an app called ShipStation. The print icon was gone, no keyboard shortcut worked, and I spent 45 minutes clicking every dropdown. Finally found it buried inside a three dot menu labeled 'more actions' with no tooltip or hint. Has anyone else run into apps hiding basic features behind mystery buttons?

Does it feel like every piece of software these days is designed by someone who's never actually used it? I've noticed this same thing with my car's infotainment system. They moved the volume knob to a touchscreen menu, and now I have to take my eyes off the road just to change the radio station. It's like companies are obsessed with making things look clean and minimal, but they forget basic stuff like printing or adjusting the volume still matters. We're trading function for looks, and it's making simple tasks way harder than they need to be.

The thing about the car infotainment system really hits home. Nobody talks about how this affects people with disabilities though. My buddy has arthritis in his hands and he literally cant use half the apps on his phone anymore because they replaced buttons with tiny icons you have to tap perfectly. The print button thing is annoying for everyone, but for some people these hidden menus and no tooltips turn a frustration into a shutdown. They just give up and call someone else to do it.
