The grocery store app made me feel dumb for 4 months straight

I kept using the store locator tab to find items in the aisle, thinking it was broken because it always showed the wrong shelf. Last Tuesday at the Safeway on 5th Ave, the cashier laughed and showed me there's a separate 'aisle guide' button hidden under the weekly ad section. Turns out I was searching by product name when the locator only worked with the exact barcode scan, which nobody tells you. The design had two colors for two functions that looked identical, so my brain just defaulted to the wrong one every time. Now I wonder how many other people gave up and just wandered the store like I did, cursing the app under my breath. Has anyone else hit a hidden feature that should've been labeled way more obviously?
