That QR code menu at the diner last night was a total mess
Sat down at Joe's Diner on Elm Street for a late breakfast and the QR code took me to a PDF of the menu that wouldn't zoom in on my phone, so I spent 10 minutes squinting at tiny text while my coffee got cold, has anyone else dealt with restaurants that don't test their own digital menus before putting them out?

My buddy run a food truck for two years and he told me the worst part wasnt the cooking it was when he switched to a QR menu and his phone was so old the camera couldnt even read the code half the time. One time he had to pull out a laminated paper menu from under the counter for like every third customer because their phones were junk or the lighting was bad. He finally just went back to a big chalkboard on wheels because people would stand there debating for five minutes and blocking the line.

My 70 year old dad actually carries reading glasses in his truck JUST for QR code menus.
